Ellen Wayne
Ellen Kabcenell Wayne is an assistant professor in the University of Baltimores M.S. program in Negotiations and Conflict Management and works with the universitys Center for Negotiations and Conflict Management. She is also a Virginia Supreme Court certified mediation and has served on the mediation panel for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Ellen holds a JD from the University of North Carolina and practiced employment discrimination law extensively in DC before earning an M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. She was heavily involved in the preparation of the Piper Rudnick/DC Appleseed Report A Time for Action: The Need to Repaid the System for Resolving Special Education Disputes in the District of Columbia and has been a co-chair of the subcommittee responsible for developing early dispute resolution pilot projects.
