Oded Adomi Leshem

Biography

Oded Adomi Leshem’s dissertation explores the perceived irreconcilability of intractable conflicts and the extent to which this perception in malleable. Utilizing experimental setups, his research examines the conditions in which hopeful messages can alter political attitudes and behaviors amongst group-members mired in violent conflicts. The first set of studies, conducted in Israel-Palestine, was published in Social Psychological and Personality Science (Leshem, Klar and Flores, 2016). Leshem’s dissertation research is a part of his bigger project which explores the role of hope in social and political conflicts.
