Abstract
The article focuses on food security in Liberia and how actions taken by the National Food Security and Nutrition Strategy (FSNS) have influenced it. The author discusses the implementation of the strategy in 2007 to rebuild the country's food security system and aid in the peace-building and economic development of the country after years of conflict as a result of the civil war that took place between 1989 and 1996. The author utilizes a food security equation to measure changes in Liberia's aggregate supply and demand for food.
