Peacebuilding: Lessons from a UN Mission in Cambodia
Tuesday, April 26th
1:00pm - 2:30pm
Metropolitan Building Room 5183
Peacebuilding: A Few Lessons from Cambodia aims to illuminate those aspects of the UN mission in Cambodia that may serve as transferable lessons for peace builders or perhaps be applied to future peacebuilding projects. As such, it is less important to judge whether the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) succeeded or failed at each of its mandated tasks, but rather highlight certain aspects of this combined peacekeeping and peacebuilding mission that worked well and those elements that were less than ideal.
