"The South Caucasus and Its Neighborhood. From Politics and Economics to Group Rights"
Abstract: We invite you to join us for the round-table discussion/presentation of the inaugural hard copy issue of the Caucasus Edition: Journal of Conflict Transformation. Titled “Prospects for Conflict Transformation and Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus”, the issue is a result of the joint work of over 30 scholar-practitioners and analysts from Turkey, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh and Abkhazia, on the topics of politics of memory, socio-economic benefits of economic cooperation, consequences of politics of isolation, ethnic groups and conflicts, gender and minority rights as instruments of conflict resolution, trans-national networks and more.
The round table will be chaired by the member of the advisory board of the Caucasus Edition, Associate Professor of the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution of George Mason University Dr. Susan Allen.
