The School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution is organizing an activity for Mason's Peace Week surrounding an approach at gathering everyday indicators of peace developed by Professor Pamina Firchow. Firchow has used this approach in several post-conflict contexts, including Colombia and South Sudan, to determine what community-generated indicators of peace look like. S-CAR is attempting to recreate and modify Firchow's approach as an exercise to get students thinking about what peace means to them on campus.
