Biography

Dr. Geiger is a certified project management professional (PMP) who has had an extensive career as a project manager with both private sector and federal government clients in the Washington DC area. She most recently served as a senior member of the PMO for a federal intelligence agency. You may learn more about her background www.leighgeiger.com

She has also enjoyed teaching throughout her career and has worked with students in a wide variety of settings. She supervised a rapidly growing program at Northeastern University in her position as the Academic Director of the MS in Project Management program.  She taught graduate courses at Virginia Tech and Grantham University and has been an adjunct faculty member at Northern Virginia Community College, where she has taught project management for over 25 years.
