Biography

Suzanne Ghais, M.S., is an accomplished facilitator, mediator, trainer, researcher, and writer in private practice. She specializes in conflict management, problem solving, and consensus building in organizations and in multiparty environmental negotiations. Her clients have included government agencies, professional service firms, university faculties, and nonprofits.

Prior to starting her own business, Suzanne practiced at CDR Associates for ten years, including one year as the organization's leader. Earlier, she was a dispute resolution trainer for the Council of Better Business Bureaus and a mediator for the Washington, DC Mediation Service.

Suzanne holds has a Master of Science degree in conflict analysis and resolution from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Brown University.

Suzanne has a multicultural background including growing up in a racially mixed community, being the daughter of an Egyptian immigrant father and a Boston-Irish mother, and having lived overseas (UK, France, and Egypt) and traveled extensively. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters.
