Alliance for Conflict Transformation
The Alliance for Conflict Transformation (ACT), Inc. is dedicated to building peace through innovative education, training, research and practice worldwide. ACT works with educators, youth, community and religious leaders, non-governmental organizations, and governmental agencies to transform social conflicts into opportunities for peaceful change.

CIVIC works to make warring parties more responsible to civilians before, during, and after armed conflict. We are advocates and advisers finding practical solutions to civilian suffering in war. We believe that warring parties should do everything in their power to avoid harming civilians and that it is never acceptable to walk away from the harm they do cause.

Center for Dispute Settlement
It is the vision of the Center for Dispute Settlement, Inc. to help create a non-violent, conflict resolving community; whereby, disputes are peacefully resolved at the earliest possible stage to avoid escalation and the potential of violence by creating the capacity and resource within individuals and the community to effectively resolve their disputes quickly, informally and peacefully.

Center for International Policy
The Center for International Policy is a nonprofit research and advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C. Through advocacy and policy research, CIP promotes transparency and accountability in U.S. foreign policy, while advocating a foreign policy that promotes international cooperation, demilitarization and respect for human rights. Our work provides policy recommendations and analysis to decision makers in government, the private sector and civil society.

Center for World Religions, Diplomacy and Conflict
The mission of The Center for World Religions, Citizen Diplomacy, and Conflict Resolution (CRDC) is to engage emerging indigenous and global conflict resolvers, partner with them in innovative entrepreneurial growth, mobilize support for them, and create linkages between peacebuilders, citizen diplomats, students, business people and policy makers.

Citizen International
Citizen International has been conceived as a global initiative to foster awareness, activism and advocacy on issues that are central to the stability and wellbeing of humanity at the beginning of the 21st century. As an independent, non-partisan, non-government and non-profit network, Citizen International is concerned that in the aftermath of 9/11 and the so-called ‘war on terror’, which has become a war without end, the world is today more unstable, divided and volatile.

District of Columbia Courts
The D.C. Courts are the third branch of the District of Columbia government. The Mayor presides over the executive branch and the Council of the District of Columbia is the legislative branch. The Courts hear and decide cases based on the evidence and the applicable law.

The District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), formerly known as the State Education Office (SEO), is a high-performing, transparent agency that sets proactive policies, exercises vigilant oversight, and directs resources that guarantee residents educated in the District of Columbia are among the highest performers in the nation; fully prepared for successful postsecondary learning and employment in the creative economy. The OSSE launched its official name change on June 12, 2007, and was created by the District of Columbia Public Education Reform Act of 2007 (DC Act 17-38).

FedSYS Secure
FedSys was founded in 2004 as a professional services corporation dedicated to supporting the federal government. In 2007 Matthew Mason acquired a majority interest in FedSys and it became a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. With new ownership and leadership came a new focus and FedSys began providing additional services to the government, including services in the areas of Language, Intelligence, Information Operations and Cyber Security. This change in strategy resulted in exponential growth and resulted in FedSys becoming one of the largest growing businesses in the defense industry.

Foundation for Middle East Peace
The Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP) is a nonprofit organization that promotes peace between Israel and Palestine, via two states, that meets the fundamental needs of both peoples. FMEP offers speakers, sponsors programs, makes small grants, and publishes the Report on Israeli Settlement in the Occupied Territories containing analysis, commentary, maps, and other data on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Fund for Peace
The Fund for Peace is an independent, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization that work to prevent violent conflict and promote sustainable security.

Grassroots Reconciliation Group
Grassroots Reconciliation Group rehabilitates former child soldiers and helps reconcile them with their communities, establishing economic, educational, and community growth in war-torn northern Uganda.

Hogan Lovells
Hogan Lovells is a global legal practice that helps corporations, financial institutions, and governmental entities across the spectrum of their critical business and legal issues globally and locally. We have over 2,300 lawyers operating out of more than 40 offices in the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.

International Center on Nonviolent Conflict
The International Center on Nonviolent Conflict (ICNC) is an independent, non-profit educational foundation that develops and encourages the study and use of civilian-based, nonmilitary strategies aimed at establishing and defending human rights, democratic self-rule and justice worldwide.

International Center for Terrorism Studies
As a member of the academic and research community, the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies has an intellectual obligation, as well as a moral and practical responsibility, to participate in the international effort to arrest the virus of terrorism. Accordingly, in 1998 the Institute established the International Center for Terrorism Studies to address the extensive issues surrounding the ever increasing anxiety of modern-day terrorism.

International Stability Operations Association
The International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) is the international trade association of the stability operations industry, promoting ethics and standards worldwide and advocating for effective utilization of private sector services. Our members are leaders in the industry and are supported by ISOA’s outreach, education and government affairs initiatives.

Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy
IMTD uses a holistic and participatory approach to assess the key variables in deep-rooted conflicts and post-conflict settings. The Institute is focused on identifying and understanding the causes of conflict within a nation.

Institute for Palestine Studies
The Institute for Palestine Studies (IPS) is the only institute in the world exclusively devoted to documentation, research, analysis, and publication on Palestinian affairs and the Arab-Israeli conflict. It is an academic organization dedicated to protecting the integrity of the historical record. The Institute is completely independent: by statute, it cannot be affiliated with any government or political organization.

Institute for War and Peace Reporting
IWPR gives voice to people at the frontlines of conflict, crisis and change. From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, IWPR helps people in the world's most challenging environments have the information they need to drive positive changes in their lives — holding government to account, demanding constructive solutions, strengthening civil society and securing human rights. Amid war, dictatorship, and political transition, IWPR forges the skills and capacity of local journalism, strengthens local media institutions and engages with civil society and governments to ensure that information achieves impact.

Institute for the Study of War
The Institute for the Study of War advances an informed understanding of military affairs through reliable research, trusted analysis, and innovative education. We are committed to improving the nation’s ability to execute military operations and respond to emerging threats in order to achieve U.S. strategic objectives. ISW is a non-partisan, non-profit, public policy research organization.

James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies
CNS combats the spread of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) by training the next generation of nonproliferation specialists and disseminating timely information and analysis.

LEVELheaded
LEVELheaded provides consultancy and training services to the non profit sector. Directly employing a staff team of 12, we provide specialist support in the following areas: Organizational Development, Strategic Planning, Board Development, Human Resources, Training and Facilitation, Personal Effectiveness, Leadership and Management, Communication, Executive Coaching, Team Development, Conflict Resolution, Project Management, Fundraising and Development.

Metropolitan Center for Assault Prevention
A non-profit organization created to reduce the incidence of violence against children throughout the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Since 1994, MetroCap has served more than 120,000 children, school counselors, teachers and parents.

National Peace Foundation
The National Peace Foundation is committed to solving problems and preventing conflict through community peacebuilding and citizen empowerment. We work where the institutions of civil society (such as health, justice, education, safety) have failed or are no longer effective, NPF empowers local citizens to improve their situation and reduce conflict.

Nonviolence International
Nonviolence International researches and promotes nonviolent action and seeks to reduce the use of violence worldwide. We believe that every culture and religion can employ appropriate nonviolent methods for positive social change and international peace

Northern Virginia Mediation Services
NVMS provides the community with accessible, affordable, and appropriate conflict resolution and education services. We help people find collaborative approaches to achieve acceptable and enduring outcomes.

Partners for Democratic Change
Partners staff and our global network of practitioners embody the finest in international expertise and local leadership; together we develop vital change and conflict management skills and processes, facilitate the resolution of disputes, and empower ordinary people to participate in decision-making at the local and national level. As a result, thousands of people have benefited from new housing, educational and employment opportunities for minorities, revamped taxation systems and public services, new leadership positions for women and youth, decreased pollution, increased public safety and other community improvements.

Partners for Peace
Partners for Peace strongly advocates a connection between means and ends. We think that for the good of both Palestinians and Israelis the occupation should end, but believe this goal is best advanced by nonviolence rather than attacks on civilians. Attacks on Israeli or Palestinian civilians warrant criticism and do significant damage to advancing substantive peacemaking.

Peacebuilding and Development Institute
The Peacebuilding & Development Institute (PDI) aims to provide cutting-edge training, research, and capacity-building opportunities for practitioners and scholars in the areas of development, humanitarian assistance, diplomacy, and conflict resolution.

The Possibility Project
The Possibility Project is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization operating three programs for youth in New York City. The Possibility Project also works with partner organizations in four additional U.S. cities, Israel, and Cape Town, South Africa to create and sustain local Possibility Projects in these locations.

RESOLVE
RESOLVE specializes in mediating and facilitating complex issues in the areas of energy; drinking water; rivers & watersheds; health & biotechnology; environmental quality; natural resources; and community land use & transportation – and in helping individuals and organizations build their capacity to engage diverse interests in collaborative problem solving.

Search for Common Ground
Founded in 1982, Search for Common Ground works to transform the way the world deals with conflict - away from adversarial approaches and towards collaborative problem solving. We use a multi-faceted approach, employing media initiatives and working with local partners in government and civil society, to find culturally appropriate means to strengthen societies' capacity to deal with conflicts constructively: to understand the differences and act on the commonalities.

Sustained Dialogue Campus Network
The Sustained Dialogue Campus Network's mission is to develop everyday leaders who engage differences as strengths to improve campuses, workplaces, and communities.

United Nations
The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945 after the Second World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.

United States Institute for Peace
USIP is our country’s global conflict management center. Created by Congress to be independent and nonpartisan, we work to prevent, mitigate and resolve international conflict through nonviolent means.

Washington Peace Center
The Washington Peace Center is a multi-issue, grassroots, anti-racist activist support organization working for peace, justice and nonviolent social change in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area.

Win Without War
Win Without War is a national leader in the fight to promote a more progressive national security strategy. Our campaign-style operation aggressively attacks right-wing distortion while pushing our elected leaders to stand up against the politicization of our national security. Formed in 2002 to lead the first national campaign against the war in Iraq and the disastrous policies of the Bush/Cheney Administration, our 40-member coalition reflects the diversity of the progressive movement.
