Solon Simmons, Assistant Professor at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University, examines the "Summit of Suds" between Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Sgt. James Crowley, hosted by President Barack Obama at the White House. Simmons talks about the lingering historical trauma of racism and the fear that is generated in one community when the other makes attempts to preserve their dignity in the face of humiliation.
