Dr. Marc Gopin, a professor of World Religions, Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution, will be our guest for this webinar. Dr. Gopin will discuss current global trends in nonviolence and new approaches to global conflict resolution, sharing insights from his long experience as a conflict resolution scholar-practitioner. Recently, he and the Center for World Religions, Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution, which he directs, have engaged in a series of public diplomacy and educational initiatives in sensitive areas of the world with an emphasis on Arab-Israeli issues- carrying out systematic efforts to promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation, and ultimately, forge alliances for peace. The spiritual and methodological dimensions of these alliances will be explored and lessons learned will be discussed.
